A sofa table genuinely adds a new dimension to any living room. Standing elegantly
behind your sofa, these tables are a great place for your knicknacks, candles, flowers,
holiday decorations - you name it. Each piece is moderately distressed to give
it an authentic "antique" appearance.  To ensure that these tables will last for
generations, the tops consist of three slightly beveled planks glued and
splined together (the outer edge is beveled 30 degrees), while the
aprons and legs are mortised and tinioned together with
a hardwood dowl-rod running through each joint.
